Hannity Conspiracy: NY Times Story That FBI Investigating Emails Found On Anthony Weiner’s Computer A Cover-Up To Protect FBI

Sean Hannity: They Know That WikiLeaks Will Be Releasing Information That Will Expose Them

Radio and Fox News host Sean Hannity disputed a New York Times report explaining that the FBI is examining new emails related to their investigation of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server found on devices owned by Huma Abedin and Anthony Weiner. Hannity lashed out at the Times report calling it “total bull” and claimed that “this is about preserv[ing]” Hillary Clinton’s innocence. But according to numerous media outlets, including Fox News, and FBI Director James Comey himself, it is unknown whether the emails are significant or their classification level of the emails without further examination. Even Fox News senior judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano urged people “not [to] jump to conclusions that Mrs. Clinton is being reinvestigated.” From the October 28 edition of Premiere Radio Networks' The Sean Hannity Show:

SEAN HANNITY (HOST): If you believe The New York Times, they have a new story that just broke. “New emails in Clinton case came from Anthony Weiner’s electronic devices. Federal law enforcement officials said Friday that new emails uncovered in closed investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server discovered after the FBI seized electronic devices belonging to Huma Abedin, and aide to Mrs. Clinton, and her husband Anthony Weiner. The FBI told Congress that uncovered new emails --.” Let me tell you how -- I am going to say something that I know is true. This story is total bull. I don't believe this for a minute. “Hannity, it's The New York Times.” I have no doubt the New York Times got on-the-record leaks that this is related to Anthony Weiner and Huma Abedin's emails. I have no doubt -- maybe Huma didn't take a sledgehammer to her devices the way Hillary Clinton did. But this is not what resulted in the reopening of this case. No way, shape, manner, or form. They know Julian Assange -- there's too much in WikiLeaks that is coming, that they're dead. That they're about to be exposed. And that is, more than anything else, this is about preservation now.
