ALFONSO AGUILAR (GUEST): For the Republicans, the vast majority support it, these bills passed the House. The problem is a handful of four or five Senators who lack the political will or are very weak, very foolish. If there is a vote, it won’t be because of Majority Leader [John] Thune; it would be because President Trump put on lots of pressure, now it’s said it could be introduced as part of a reconciliation bill that would include elements of the Save America Act, but supposedly it does not have the votes.

Again, it’s these 4 or 5 Republicans who would sink that bill, because they’re weak, supposedly moderate, and some simply do it to go against Donald Trump. Some say, Well, we don’t have the — Thune, the leader, keeps saying “I’m the only one doing math here, we don't have the votes.” Then look, if they don’t have the votes, then introduce the bill and we will see who votes against it, and that will be reason enough for voters to take note, and in primaries remove those Republicans who are not ready to support the bill, because there is no reason not to.

The Democrats, I understand, because at least they want to keep stealing elections, but why would a Republican want to allow that to continue, right? So I understand that it would be on record who votes against it, so there can be a primary against those Republicans.
