From the June 19 edition of NRATV’s Stinchfield:
GRANT STINCHFIELD (HOST): I talked to, Dan -- and this was a great interview with a border patrol agent, who said literally what they are putting these kids through is child abuse. Going through the desert, no food, putting them in the trunk of a stranger to drive through the desert, to get them to the border to drop them off, or when they are confronted by border patrol agents, they literally drop the kid and run the other way. In America, they’d be arrested for child abuse. In many respects, I think now after talking with this agent, these kids are in better hands in the hands of the federal government of the United States of America than they are in the hands of the people that were trying to bring them here and cross into America.
DAN BONGINO: Grant, the numbers speak accurately to what you just said. You know, facts should matter. To us, they do. I know it doesn’t matter to the mainstream media that attacks us. But the majority of these kids, I had Dan Horowitz on the show yesterday, 10,000 of the 12,000 unaccompanied alien children, Grant, were sent here by themselves. You have a kid, can you imagine telling your kid hey cross over into Mexico, I’ll meet you -- are you nuts? I don’t even leave my kid alone in the shopping mall. Forget about to cross the border with a bunch of drug mules on a drug corridor. It’s ridiculous. What you just said is entirely accurate. If you are willing to send your kid on a journey through the hot desert with a bunch of drug runners into the United States to break the law, maybe it’s better off that you’re separated from them. You clearly didn’t have their best interests in mind. There is nothing controversial about that.
