NRATV host: Talking about reforming gun laws after the Christchurch mosque mass shootings is doing the bidding of the shooter

NRATV’s Grant Stinchfield also insists “there was nothing right-wing about the shooter”

GRANT STINCHFIELD (HOST): The New Zealand shooter wanted the removal of gun rights from his home country and the United States. Almost immediately the left-wing anti-gunners across the world bow to the shooter and embark on a quest to do his bidding. Thank God the United States has the NRA. New Zealand doesn’t. With no NRA to stand in the gap in New Zealand, the people there are punished, about to be totally disarmed by the government for the actions of one madman. The NRA exists to protect you from that kind of government overreach. So now the people of New Zealand are at the mercy of the government. It's their rights versus doing something. Anything to prove the politicians are making you safer, when in reality what they are doing is making you less safe.

Then of course there is the media's role in all of this. The media still calls the shooter a “right-winger.” The Washington Post called the shooting “one of the worst cases of right-wing terrorism in years.” How dare they? There was nothing right-wing about the shooter. No one on the right, much less the far-right wants to “remove our gun rights.” We aren’t for minimum wage increases, or the furthering of unionization of workers. This lunatic that the media dubbed a Trump-supporting right-winger, said this in his garbled incoherent mess of a manifesto: He railed against the “ever-increasing wealth of the one percent that exploit people for their own benefit.” This violent “right-winger” declared conservatism is dead and global capitalist markets are the enemy of racial autonomists. He called himself an eco-fascist, insisting that overpopulation was destroying our environment. No right-winger I know talks like that. So the media does what it does best. Because the violent killer is a racist, they ignore the entire manifesto, select only bits and pieces of it that fit their anti-Trump, anti-NRA narrative, and declare, since he is a racist, he must be a conservative, gun-loving Trump supporter. The shooter is about as close to being a right-winger as these activist reporters are to being journalists.
