Nick Fuentes on the Iran war: “This is the worst loss of the 21st century and it isn’t even close”

NICK FUENTES (HOST): That's a complete and total defeat. That is a pivotal error. That is a strategic defeat on the magnitude of Vietnam that we haven't seen in 50 years. That's worse even than Iraq. Say what you want about Iraq. We did win the war. Saddam Hussein is dead, the Ba'athist regime is finished there as well as in Syria, we now have allied governments in Baghdad and Damascus. Was it expensive? Were there too many casualties? It went on for far too long, unintended consequences, certainly. But on some level we did achieve those initial goals. Al-Qaeda was eradicated, the Ba'athist ideology was eradicated, Saddam Hussein was eliminated as a belligerent, so was the Assad dynasty.
This is a strategic defeat that we have not seen in a very long time. Failed on everything and actually now we're worse off. Regime is there, the uranium is there, the centrifuges are there, the missiles are there, and we lost the strait to them. It used to be for everybody, now it's theirs. And we lost all our bases in the Persian Gulf. Our biggest and most permanent military facilities, we're considering scuttling and abandoning them because we cannot defend them. And now the Persian Gulf belongs to Iran.
That's the extent of the failure of this administration, and it's looking like that's really it. There's nothing else that we can do. Nothing more can be done for us. That's just over. And what's sad about it is not only is this a strategic defeat for America, but this is also going to destroy Trump's legacy. Forget even about the strategic loss for The United States for just a second.
Also consider how this single-handedly has brought down the legacy of MAGA. Trump, whose entire vision and agenda was that America is going to win -- well, now we have the worst loss of the century. Didn't Trump roll into the White House in 2016 saying, “We don't have victories anymore. We lose to China. We lose to Mexico. I'm going to have victories again.”

Technically speaking, we won in Iraq, we won in Syria, we won in Libya. Obviously, there were unintended consequences and very, very catastrophic consequences for America, but we did achieve our goal of regime change in those places. This is maybe worse even than Afghanistan, where although we fought for 20 years, eventually the Taliban just took it back over.
So Trump said we're going to have victories. This is the worst defeat in the century. Also, Trump ran against the legacy of the war in Iraq. This is worse than Iraq. This is worse because we lost. We went in and we lost. We lost a ton of money, maybe $100 billion. It could be up to a trillion dollars in economic losses when all is said and done, and we didn't even solve the problem. At least in Iraq, we got rid of the belligerent autocrat that was going to invade Saudi Arabia, and it had a WMD program, at least in the '80s.
We don't even have that. So we went into an Iraq-like war with a worse outcome. And it goes against Trump's promise of no new wars, America first. We did it for Israel. So, it not only ends America's presence in the Persian Gulf in an unprecedented strategic defeat, but it's also the end of MAGA.
