NICK FUENTES (HOST): The asylum process is totally ridiculous. Basically, under U.S. and international law, any foreign national can come here and just stay as long as they want, as long as they read a script given to them by a lawyer from an NGO. If you overstay your visa as a tourist, you're here illegally. If you hop the border, you're here illegally. But what these people have figured out is that if a foreign national surrenders at a port of entry and they're given a piece of paper, a script by a lawyer from an NGO, and they read the script, they will become eligible for asylum protections. And under U.S. federal statute and international law, we cannot get rid of these people. They come here and they say the magic words that make them eligible for asylum. They don't even need to be true. They're given a script and they say it. And then because of our system, that application goes into this huge backlog that we're never going to work through, and those people get to live in our country while we are adjudicating their asylum claim that they were given.
And so -- Finally, some good news. Trump administration is fast-tracking their deportation, basically allowing judges to dismiss their asylum claim without a trial. So the case can come before a judge, the judge can decide, case dismissed, you're out of here. And there are hundreds of thousands of asylum seekers. It's so -- They abuse the system so much. Basically, you're eligible for asylum if you believe you are a particular target of your home country's government for race, ethnic, religious reasons. Like if you're one of the Hutus or Tutsis in Rwanda or something like that, or you're a Yazidi in Iraq at the height of ISIS.
But these people come here just because their country's a dump. They come to The United States and they say, “Hi, my country's a dump. I'm a political asylee.”
And it's like, you're not a political asylee, you're just a peasant from a shithole country. You're just an 85 IQ, illiterate peasant from some dump and you're looking for a job and you're going to send all the income back as a remittance to your home country and then after 20 years you might even go back once you've made your money. They're not asylum seekers, they’re economic migrants. They're not asylum seekers, they're basically just -- it's another class of illegal immigration.
