CARL HIGBIE (HOST): Let's talk War Powers Act, OK? House passes this, like, an hour ago. Says, no. We're going to rein in Trump's war powers. Now, you had four Republicans - Massie, Fitzpatrick, Davidson, and Barrett that can all also go pound sand. Maybe they'd be more welcome in Iran at this point. And Trump's just going to veto this anyway, so who cares?
MIKE SARRAILLE (GUEST): This is -- it's shameful. Shameful -- for a president who stepped up to cure a 47-year-old problem for this nation. And you fought against the Iranians in Sadr City during the Iraq war.
HIGBIE: Yeah. Killed some of my friends with an IED.
SARRAILLE: I am so fed up with the left on the narrative and the lack of support for this war, even though they know it's noble and it's just. And God bless Trump for having the moral courage and clarity to do what's right even during a midterm, election year.
HIGBIE: Yeah.
SARRAILLE: And the fact that he's not deterred by that. You have a president that's making foundational decisions for what's good for America five, ten, 15 years from now.
HIGBIE: 50.
SARRAILLE: 50. And, you know, he's not getting credit for that. If we were unified, because Iran is using this weapon against us. They think that our American political cycle --
HIGBIE: Yeah.
SARRAILLE: Is stronger than American resolve. And Americans are playing into that because of the left and the media --
HIGBIE: Oh, yeah.
SARRAILLE: And now that we have four Republicans, breaking ranks, disgusting.
HIGBIE: Yeah. But, Victoria, this goes to a larger problem, which is, like, this happened with Iraq war. We went in. We were all gung ho. We were killing a ton of bad guys, and then people were like, oh. But it's been three years, and and we feel like these are bad headlines. And then you have a political movement of hippies that are like, hey. Stop that. And then us guys killing people over there get left out in the cold, and we're forced to, you know, deal with less on the battlefield.
