CALLER: Hey there, Emily. I just wanted to say that as a 77-year-old conservative — I've always been very conservative. I've never voted for a Democrat in my life, followed Trump, was with Trump up until he appointed Pam Bondi as attorney general. I knew right then, oh no, oh no. And —
EMILY JASHINSKY (HOST): Oh, really?
CALLER: Yes, yes, it's gone downhill — way downhill from there. We're just, as a country, we're just screwed because it doesn't matter who you vote for. It does not matter. So at this point, I have two choices. I can either stay home and not vote, which is really against me spiritually, but — or I can vote for Democrats because it just doesn't matter. It just doesn't matter. And I'm so pissed at the Republicans that I just might go and vote straight ticket Democrat just because, just because. Why should I be loyal to them? We're just so screwed.
(CROSSTALK)
JASHINSKY: To send a message to Republicans.
CALLER: Yeah, I'm mad at Republicans. I'm mad at — I'm just, we're just screwed. We're just screwed no matter what.
JASHINSKY: Yeah, you know, Melanie, I feel like there are so many people like you out there. Thank you for the call.
