TRACE GALLAGHER: This is from Karine Jean-Pierre, she is the deputy press secretary that Joe Biden wants to put in place. She said this about AIPAC, that’s the pro-Israeli group, bipartisan.

“It's time to call a spade a spade. AIPAC is not progressive. You cannot call yourself a progressive while continuing to associate yourself with an organization like AIPAC that has often been the antithesis of what it means to be progressive.”

Your final thoughts on her, Michael?

MICHAEL GOODWIN: Yes, look, I think that is clearly representative of the far-left wing of the Democratic Party — or more accurately, the far, far-left wing of the Democratic Party. And Joe Biden bringing that into his White House, on the issue of Israel, I think is a big mistake, and it’s going to further divide the party rather than unite it. And certainly not going to unite America, because President Trump's policies united the country around the good policy in the Mideast. Biden, if he undoes that, that will be his problem now.

GALLAGHER: Yeah, some say the president-elect is trying very hard to placate some progressives on the left.
