Laura Ingraham: “I think it could easily as well turn out to be the year of the man” after Kavanaugh hearings

LAURA INGRAHAM (HOST, THE INGRAHAM ANGLE): Last night on The Angle, I did this monologue, fact versus emotion. And, we're all very emotional about these things. It's human nature. But, whether the accuser, Dr. Ford seems like a nice person, or Brett -- Judge Kavanaugh seemed like he was too indignant, to some extent, the senators were doing their job or putting that aside and thinking, wait a second, what did we learn yesterday that gives us a better sense, factually, of what happened 36 years ago? Given the fact that Judge Kavanaugh has no pattern of this type of behavior, no contemporaneous corroboration.

We're left with well, “Well, we want to talk Safeway because the accuser says she saw Mark Judge at some point in time, and he looked like he was as white as a sheet and ill when he saw her.” None of that had anything to do with the underlying allegation, and as someone who's known Judge Kavanaugh for 28 years, and I've spent my own time on the Supreme Court as a law clerk, this was a political exercise in futility for the Democrats.

And I don't think that the whole year of the woman thing, I wonder if they haven't bit off more than they can chew on that. Because I think it could easily as well turn out to be the year of the man who feel like the target is on their back all the time, and it is not fair to just make one allegation and say your life should be turned upside down. I don't think that's fair to victims, and I don't think that's fair to the accused.
