CALLER: Larry, we've been listening to you for about 25 years. I got a lot of respect for you. I agree with you almost everything, but this, I disagree. You know, we would have not been in a position we're in now had Trump just left it alone.

....

I've been hearing for 25 years from Netanyahu that Iraq or Iran was weeks away from getting a nuclear weapon.

...

A very good friend of mine who served 25 of special operations, was one of the first teams on the ground Afghanistan, said that fighting wars in The Middle East is a dead end — putting troops on the ground there. Any politician, any person who wants to go, you sign up first. You go, you send your kids. You send your grandkids. Lindsey Graham, you go fight. You go fight. Stop sending American (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

LARRY ELDER (HOST): Let me respond to that. We have an all-volunteer army, and we have a civilian command and control. When they sign up, they're aware that they're going to be following the orders of the commander in chief. What you're really saying, essentially, is nobody should be president unless he or she has military-aged children who are serving at the time. Really? Is that that how you feel?

CALLER: What I'm saying is — what I'm saying is, and I'm a conservative Republican, Americans are tired of sending their sons and daughters to fight in the Middle East. We're now — we're done doing it. We spent trillions of dollars. We get invested in this country. And as a matter of fact and if we were — let the Israelis put their troops on the ground, but they won't do that, will they?
