U.S. Oil and Gas Association President Tim Stewart says, “If you want to get a message to the president, talk to" John Solomon and Amanda Head
Published
John Solomon is a right-wing journalist and host on Real America’s Voice whom President Donald Trump has appointed to serve as a special government employee to run a “task force on ‘transparency.’” The task force reportedly gathered “thousands of pages of documents from U.S. intelligence agencies, with plans to declassify some of them, which would give President Donald Trump an opportunity to amplify new accusations about past elections.” Solomon has taken a leave of absence from his role as editor-in-chief of Just The News but has continued to host his show of the same name, as well as the podcast John Solomon Reports. Amanda Head also serves as a host of Just The News and John Solomon Reports.

AMANDA HEAD (CO-HOST): Tim, I want to ask about the president's involvement in this because people look at someone who is, you know, a real estate and a business mogul and probably wears Brioni suits, and they wouldn't necessarily think that he would be that involved, but as I understand it, he deserves a lot of the credit for this. Right?
TIM STEWART (GUEST): He really does. You know, I don't think the Trump administration, either in the past administration or the current one right now, gets enough credit for all the work that they did. And, you know, when we talked about this a week or 10 days ago, John and — I got to salute you guys.
We talked about it at 6:30 on a Thursday night, if I recall. We talked about how important this program was. And 7 o'clock on that Thursday night, the president came out and spoke to a group of sportsmen there in the Rose Garden at the White House and said, I was proud to sign the Great America Outdoors Act and I want to sign the Great Outdoors Act part two. Let's get it done.
I tell people, look, if you want to get a message to the president, talk to John and Amanda. They're the ones who actually get it done for you. So thanks for giving us the opportunity to talk about that last time.
JOHN SOLOMON (CO-HOST): It was a great conversation.
