JOHN SOLOMON (HOST): President Trump has named a new acting director of National Intelligence. If his name sounds familiar, it's because he's been on the show a few times. He's Bill Pulte, who also leads the Federal Housing Finance Agency, which oversees Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
He will be replacing, at least temporarily, outgoing director of national intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard. That is a good thing for those who want more accountability and more disclosure and transparency in the intelligence community because he has been a champion of that, including making those referrals for against people who were cheating on their mortgages, including people like Sen. Adam Schiff, remember that? And Letitia James, the attorney general in New York. So if you're for accountability, if you're for a little bit more transparency, if you're for needling some of those in this establishment, Bill Pulte is going to be a pretty impressive figure.
