GREG KELLY (HOST): Hey. You know who this William Pulte is? I like him. William Pulte. He was the director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency. Now folks, that's not exactly the most glamorous job in government. Right? But, he did it well. He was studying some of the fraud that people like Adam Schiff and Tish James, the attorney general of New York state engaged in with their own real estate holdings. He made criminal referrals. He made the most of a job that's not particularly glamorous.
He has just gotten promoted by President Trump. He is the acting director of national intelligence. My understanding is he's in his late 30s, very successful in business, construction, and building. And, you know, a lot of people are murmuring, oh, he has no background in intelligence. Well, that is good. That is good. He has a great brain. He's smart. He's analytical. But the intelligence community is so thoroughly dysfunctional. You need an outsider like him, and I just like it. You know what I mean? He made the most of a job, and, and look at him now.
