Marie Harf shuts down fellow Fox contributor Jason Chaffetz for pushing “a conspiracy theory” about the migrant caravan

Harf: “When he says things that aren't accurate on TV, I'm going to interrupt you. ... In your heart you might feel it, but there's no evidence.”

From the December 11 edition of Fox News' Outnumbered:

JASON CHAFFETZ (FOX NEWS CONTRIBUTOR): I don't buy the Democrats on wanting to secure the border. They wanted to shutdown ICE, they were encouraging on the caravan, I don't believe --

MARIE HARF (CO-HOST): That's not true, neither of those things are true, Jason --

CHAFFETZ: It is absolutely, 100 percent true.

HARF: Neither of those things are true.

CHAFFETZ: It is 100 percent true.

HARF: The Democratic caucus --

CHAFFETZ: It is human trafficking.

HARF: Will you let me respond?

CHAFFETZ: You were the one that interrupted me.

HARF: The Democrats -- because you said things that aren't accurate.

HARRIS FAULKNER (CO-HOST): Oh, you interrupted a former congressman, and he's calling you on it.

HARF: When he says things that aren't accurate on TV, I'm going to interrupt you.

CHAFFETZ: What's inaccurate?

HARF: The Democratic caucus does not support shutting down ICE. Individual members talk about it, the caucus does not --

CHAFFETZ: You didn't hear any Republicans talking about that.

HARF: Second, the Democratic Party is not supporting the caravan. That is a conspiracy theory that has been repeatedly debunked online. Do not repeat it for our viewers, please.

CHAFFETZ: I wholeheartedly believe in my heart --

HARF: Well, there's no evidence. In your heart you might feel it, there's no evidence. No evidence. No evidence. None.

CHAFFETZ: That is just not true. We disagree on that one.

HARF: None.
