Fox News panel descends into chaos and threats immediately following Cohen testimony

Greg Gutfeld: “If you say that again, I'm going to throw you off the set”

From the February 27 edition of Fox News' The Five:

GREG GUTFELD (CO-HOST): Why did we endure this spectacle? For two reasons, no collusion and North Korea, and I know that people here are acting like this is news. We need to believe that it's news because we are forced to cover this. I don't feel like this is news. I can't find the news.

I believe this is a orgy for anti-Trumpers. It's all due to the fact that the skunk at the garden party became president of the garden party, and we have never recovered from Trump being president.

Cohen shows how easy it is to parrot platitudes. He just ran through every tweet ever done by Keith Olbermann.

At the end of that thing, he knew when he said that Trump was racist, conman in chief, that he fulfilled the media mission as offering the perfect sound bite, the perfect lower third. Every net -- you saw it, every network had that lower third. It had “racist, conman, cheat.”

They -- they knew, Lanny Davis knew that if he met the media assumptions this thing would be a major success, so he met the media assumptions.

He went through the litany of everything the media feels about Trump without ever laying a hand on collusion, without ever putting any news out. So, we had to sit here the whole day and not talk about real news, and talk about this crap.

...

JUAN WILLIAMS (CO-HOST): You are so deep in the bunker, and you just spew, spew, spew --

GUTFELD: Oh, shut up, Juan. I'm in nobody's bunker. I mean, it's -- enough with your bunker -- I am trying to be --

WILLIAMS: OK, so here's what I would say --

GUTFELD: I am trying to be polite to somebody on the panel, Juan, which you won't do.

WILLIAMS: You are so blind because you, like Greg, are deep in the bunker.

GUTFELD: You know, if you say that again, I'm going to throw you off the set.

WILLIAMS: Oh, no.

GUTFELD: No, you know -- because you know what the -- you know what the bunker means, what you are intimating, is that -- who is in the bunker? Adolf Hitler. Correct?

WILLIAMS: No, I was not.

GUTFELD: No, no, no, that's what you're saying.

WILLIAMS: You are so far-off --

GUTFELD: No, when you say somebody is in the bunker, you --

WILLIAMS: But you are so -- you are in such a weak position that you're now screaming --

GUTFELD: No -- Juan, Juan, Juan, what you -- Juan, what you're saying is you choose the worst intent of people's words.

WILLIAMS: No, I'm saying --

GUTFELD: Like, when I say that I believe something, I'm in the bunker. What if I said that about you?

WILLIAMS: No, I -- what about --

JESSE WATTERS (CO-HOST): We're not going to talk about the bunker anymore.
