JOHN ROBERTS (HOST): Bill Pulte now being tapped to be the interim Director of Intelligence. It was a big topic of conversation at the White House briefing today. Mehmet Oz, who did the briefing, basically successfully ducking every question that was thrown at him.

BYRON YORK (GUEST): I don't think Dr. Oz is going to give up his day job. The only thing you can say for it is it's an acting appointment, and he can serve for several months acting, but he ultimately -- if he were nominated to be the permanent, it would have to be a full-time -- it'd have to be confirmed by the senate. You know, you played John Cornyn saying, "I see no qualifications at all." I don't either. It seems like a pretty poor choice here. So, I'm not sure exactly what explains it.
