BEN DOMENECH (FOX CONTRIBUTOR): Look, there's no reason that we should have faith in the Iranian regime. They have shown us time and again they're not going to live up to their obligations, and I think the fact, I mean, I understand the markets are happy with this. I understand that, you know, it's good for people to have the price of oil come down, but I also think that by engaging in this the way we have, America has given up all its leverage in this situation. I do not think that this is a deal ultimately that achieves the high goals that the president set when he first talked about going into Iran.
At the same time I do want to make clear we have achieved a ton when it comes to, militarily, you know, when Marco Rubio talked about taking the ballistic missile threat off the map, when he talked about destroying their Navy, when he talked about, you know, essentially eliminating their ability to project power as much as possible, I think that you can fairly say that's been achieved, but this doesn't feel like a victory. And I think people shouldn't come away with it without feeling like, you know, we could have maybe gotten a lot more out of this regime, especially when it comes to the fact that we know from our past history that we cannot trust them.
