Fox Airs Nearly All Of Romney Speech To NAACP -- But Only A Minute And A Half Of Biden's

When Mitt Romney spoke to the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People's annual convention on July 11, Fox News aired virtually the entirety of the speech live -- more than 23 minutes of airtime.

But Fox decided that a speech to the same audience by Vice President Joe Biden didn't deserve the same level of coverage. The network's mid-day news show aired only 1 minute and 30 seconds of Biden's approximately 27-minute-long speech live before cutting back to co-host Jon Scott telling viewers that the speech was being live-streamed on Fox News' website. From the July 12 edition of Fox News' Happening Now:

In May, the day after Romney clinched the Republican presidential nomination, Fox News twice aired what was essentially a four-minute attack ad on President Obama, made by a producer at Fox & Friends.
