“Puppet master”: Fox's Jesse Watters uses anti-Semitic trope to describe Michael Cohen attorney Lanny Davis

Watters also claims Democrats did not give Trump a “peaceful transfer of power” after his election

From the March 1 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends:

Video file

JESSE WATTERS (FOX NEWS HOST): I love videotape, you know? You can always tell when someone's lying. Don't use videotape on me, though, OK? I'm always consistent. I think he's a total liar and he's a fraud. And that's the Democrats' best shot at impeachment. They try to tee this thing up, and you see Lanny Davis in the background during the hearing.

BRIAN KILMEADE (CO-HOST): Terrible optics for Cohen.

WATTERS: Puppet master, you know. It's Clinton's fixer now representing Trump's fixer. The fix is in.

KILMEADE: You know what, Jesse, I thought it was most telling thing were his closing comments.

WATTERS: Right.

KILMEADE: It was a political document.

WATTERS: Yeah.

KILMEADE: It had nothing to do with his testimony.

WATTERS: Yeah, my favorite was he said if Trump loses in 2020, he will not give up the White House peacefully. And that reminded me, that's kind of what the Democrats did last time. Has there been a peaceful transfer of power to Trump? No.
