From the July 15 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends:
KEVIN CORKE (WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENT): On Capitol Hill, Democrats are again calling the president, as you've heard, racist for saying things like “go back.” It's loaded in some circles.
CORKE: If you're not inside Washington and you're not sure of who these four reasonably popular, certainly among the left, congresswomen are, maybe not so popular among folks on the right, here they are. [Rep. Alexandria] Ocasio-Cortez [(D-NY)], [Rep. Ilhan] Omar [(D-MN)], [Rep. Rashida] Tlaib [(D-MI)], and [Rep. Ayanna] Pressley [(D-MA)]. This is a circumstance, guys, where there are no easy answers here in how to get out of this if you're the White House. We'll see how they handle it throughout the day, but for now back to you.
BRIAN KILMEADE (CO-HOST): Right, and this started between the speaker and the squad.
CORKE: That's exactly right.
KILMEADE: And it still existed, in fact I saw that Netroots conference over the weekend, the speaker was in the eye of the storm, and she was being vilified because of the way she pushes back on them. So here he goes.
CORKE: That's right, and one to remember when Ocasio-Cortez said women of color, again that was coded language in some circles. People felt like maybe she was suggesting that the speaker was being unfair to communities of color. So this is a back and forth in Washington. It's summer. These things happen. And I don't suspect this storyline will go anywhere today -- it'll be very popular, guys.
