RACHEL CAMPOS-DUFFY (CO-HOST): Well, you know, sometimes they say when you go to someone's house, always bring something with you. President Trump brought something with him. And he said, if you elect the Congress, both the House and the Senate, he's going to give $5,000 to every single adult in the United States.
...
BRIAN KILMEADE (CO-HOST): All right. So he's got to get Congress to pass that, the problem is he needs 60 votes, but let's see. He says I can't do it without Congress. So leave those majorities, leave those majorities in place. When you start breaking down the individual races, they're all within one, almost all of them are within one or two points. You know, I know right now Whatley is struggling in the Senate side a little bit in North Carolina, and right now Michael Collins is struggling a little bit in Georgia. Everything else — one or two points. So anyone who says the Senate's lost or the Senate's won is not being honest, but I thought — you're guessing and pretending like you know. But I just thought if you are looking to create momentum and get everybody on the same page in terms of talking points. That's what this was for.
CAMPOS-DUFFY: And this just shows just how creative and rule-breaking and out of the box President Trump is. I'm surprised no one has thought of this before. It's actually a great way as you say to sort of get that momentum. Push things forward. Especially if you are running, you know, as the incumbent in the midterm, you know you're already going to have those headwinds. I think this was a brilliant idea on their part.
