STEPHEN MOORE (FORMER TRUMP ECONOMIC ADVISER): You know, and I've said this so many times, every time we do the jobs report. But it bears repeating, the big number that is we have 11,000 people retiring every day, and we only have 8,000 people entering the workforce.
Now, I agree with you all that, you know, controlling illegal immigration is important. But my goodness, we need a lot more legal immigration if we're going to make this economy grow, because — and, by the way, this is seasonal. You know, this is the season where you get a lot of the seasonal workers in, and a lot of employers are saying they can't get those in right now. So, we've got to, you know, control — seal the border, Trump's doing a great job of that. Now let's increase the legal immigrant visas so we can have an even faster-growing economy. Because as E.J. said, this report does show the labor force is shrinking a little bit. That's not a great sign.
