CHRIS HAYES (HOST): This is interesting, Angelo. This was Matthew Gertz at — your colleague pulled this up, this is the Fox website. They are not going big on, like, again, in line with this theme of the people who sort of are like most invested in Republican political electoral success in the midterms. They're not going huge on this. It does seem like there's a general recognition of people around him. This is not what you want to be doing.
ANGELO CARUSONE (MEDIA MATTERS PRESIDENT): Yeah, and look, they got burned really bad, in particular the last time when they carried water for a bunch of election attacks. Because a lot of what we're going to hear tonight, and that's the tell, is going to be retread from the 2020 election lies. But in effect, you know, it used to matter a lot what Fox was doing, especially in this context because of the feedback loop. You needed them to act to get the party and the populace motivated, and that would then create action. But it's one in the same, John Solomon, as it was mentioned, you know, this is a guy that's running the task force. He can do a podcast on and a segment on Steve Bannon in the morning, and then walk into the White House and begin to execute and implement. The lines are gone. You no longer need that power. And that's what's different this time than last time.
