BENNY JOHNSON (HOST): Now, interesting activity in the oil markets today. This is oil trading. You can see here that oil has come down certainly from its peaks, not moderating to where it should be, which is right here.

Now, let me tell you where we have got to be for the midterms, and if we're not here for the midterms, I am very fearful, and I'll be angry. So, here we go. December 16, 2025, oil was at $59 a barrel.

...

What is gas where you live? I deign to say, and I'm very upset that it hovers close to $4 a gallon where I am right now. I can't imagine what it's like in California. I'm heading to Texas tomorrow. Apparently, gas is $3 a gallon in Texas.

...

About $4 a gallon where I am. That's awful. It's awful, and I'm not going excuse it. And I'm not going to sit there and say that, like, somehow this is worth it. It's not. Like, meaning, our movement needs to be about making life better for Americans and doing it immediately. But the Iranians have been dicking around and have been pussyfooting around. And I'm sorry, there's no other term for it because it's, like, this yank back and forth, and will they won't they pull — dude, you're not going to beat Trump in this, and Trump would rather, like, just, like, glass factory the whole place than come out looking weak. So take the deal.
