BEN SHAPIRO (HOST): I will say this for the President. So I will agree. I think that the Knicks lost last night because President Trump showed up. And you know why that happened? Because President Trump loves America. That's why he went. He went so that they would lose because it is imperative that the Knicks lose. It is imperative because Zohran Mamdani cannot be allowed to be happy. It's not a thing. America only wins if the Knicks lose. I'm sorry, Knicks fans. I'm sorry, long time Knicks fans, especially the ones who didn't vote for Mamdani, but you brought this upon yourself. The justice of the divine will only be served if the Knicks lose, and especially if they lose a 2-0 lead after winning a couple on the road in San Antonio. That is the only way that justice — cosmic justice will be performed here. So if the president was a tool in that cosmic justice, then I'm all for it. The president may have just saved America, I guess, is what I'm saying right now.
And if in fact the Knicks lose because President Trump showed up for game three, then I will support a change to the Constitution that allows for him to run for a third term. Because, I mean, there are just things that have to be done here. Also, just going to say, if you're going to blame Trump for the Knicks losing, I seem to remember another political figure who was in the stadium last night who has a far more correlative record with regard to New York sports teams losing when he shows up. That dude's name is Zohran Mamdani. You might recall that Zohran Mamdani did an event with Mr. and Mrs. Met, and the Mets proceeded to lose every game for the rest of time. So, maybe it was Mamdani up in the rafters that did it. Maybe it wasn't Trump in the luxury box. Maybe it was Mamdani up in in the rafters. Maybe it was that. Well, it doesn't really matter.
