BEN SHAPIRO (HOST): Anyway, the same New York that, again, cosplays as — it pretends to be the place where if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere. They're just continuing to drive out all investors. So New York did pass their pied-à-terre tax, which is their tax on second homes in New York. All this is gonna do is drive people out of New York. Because if you're rich enough to afford a place in New York, you're certainly rich enough to afford a place elsewhere. And why would you want to sponsor — I think there's actually a moral question as to whether you should buy a home in New York at this point unless you have to. Because sponsoring the predations of Zohran Mamdani's government, it seems to me that that may become a moral issue at a certain point. If you are a legitimate — if you know that you have a choice and your tax dollars are subsidizing the horrible policy of Zohran Mamdani, I think you — there's an actual moral question as to whether you should be buying a home in New York at this point. New York, by the way, continues to go as radical as humanly possible.
