DANA PERINO (CO-HOST): I also think that K.T. McFarland, as the deputy, should be considered. I don't see why not. If she was good enough to be the deputy -- if you're the deputy, that means you are able to step into the shoes if a vacancy is available.

GILLIAN TURNER (CO-HOST): Absolutely, it's like the vice president. If you don't have trust that the person could do a really solid job, then they shouldn't be a number two. 

JUAN WILLIAMS (CO-HOST): Well, I think part of the fear here was that Harward felt he can't bring his own team, and he may not have wanted people who were previously with Flynn.
