AINSLEY EARHARDT (CO-HOST): How do you fight this? How do you fight a religion that is asking you to sacrifice your children?

ROB O'NEILL: It's tough one. I mean, the way that I'm -- when I'm talking off-camera to my friends, it’s like while we're teaching our children about safe zones, trigger words, and microgressions, they're training their kids to kill our kids. That's the way it works and you know what you're taught and they're teaching them at a very young age. We have an issue with ISIS being where they are, having an Islamic state, having a community. There's no borders over there anymore. This means they have hotels, they have money, they have banks, they have schools. So they're teaching kids at a very young age only this. They're not over there teaching real history or science or stuff like that. They're teaching them about the Quran, they're teaching them about Sharia law, and this version of extremist Islam. And that's what it is, to kill them. I mean it's not like he went to kill himself, he went to go to paradise. And that's what you're going to get. They're so afraid of not going to heaven this is the kind of stuff that they do. And they don't care how old the kids are, they don't care how old anyone is.

STEVE DOOCY (CO-HOST): Because that's what they are taught. So they use women and they use children. I you know personally have been in instances where you've face both of them.

O'NEILL: I've seen it before. I was in an instance in Iraq where I was on the outside of a building shooting through a window. I shot the guy. The woman got up to grab his gun. And she thought he’d been hit through the door so she was kind of hiding behind the door and I started saying, “Don't do it. Just stop, stop now.”

DOOCY: She understood what you were saying?

O'NEILL: She knew there was an American voice there. So she kind of turned around and looked and she sat back down, which is great for me because she picks up the gun she's a combatant. It has to go down that way. I've seen it with children, the same way. They continue the fight. Age isn't a lot to them. It's not -- doesn't mean too much to them.

DOOCY: It's just another person with a gun.

O'NEILL: It is. It's someone else fighting the jihad. I mean let's be honest. This is a -- I know we say “radicalized Islam.” Islam itself is actually a warriors’ religion, OK? It's not necessarily a religion of peace. This is something -- they conquer people. This is kind of what they do. So a lot of these versions are -- not that a lot of Muslims aren't peaceful, I've met a bunch of them myself, but that's who we need to help us in this. The military-aged fighting men in Syria, there’s no bringing them back. We need to kill them. There needs to be a war in Syria.
