SEAN HANNITY (HOST): Let me bring in former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani. By the way, great speech from Laura the other night, and great speech by you. I don't think I've ever seen you -- and I've known you for a long time, that animated.

RUDY GIULIANI: That as a lot better. That was the best acceptance speech I have ever seen, including my hero, Ronald Reagan. It hit every theme, it set up a campaign between the insider and the outsider, and he's representing the outsider. And it spans Republican, Democrat, liberal, conservative. When people were yelling lock her up, he stood back and stopped them. When the people cheered for protecting the rights of lesbians and gays he said he was proud of Republicans. He was exactly the man I told you the first night of the convention was a good man.

HANNITY: You've known him all of these years.

GIULIANI: And I've always known him to be exactly the man you saw up there last night. A good man. A compassionate man, a fair man, and an exceptionally talented man. There is no way that this man is not getting elected.

HANNITY: Two things really impressed me in this speech. Number one, the statistics that he used to layout the case that this country is headed in the wrong direction, that it is broken, and he literally -- I don't think he missed a single problem America is facing today, and offered what Hillary would do as the insider who has failed, and what he is offering, which is now a change election. America has a clear choice which direction this country will be heading.
