MSNBC’s Brzezinski Slams Trump Campaign Chairman’s Defense Of Melania Trump’s Speech: “He’s Going To Have To Go”

Mika Brzezinski: “This Is Like Saying Everybody Who Is Listening To Me Right Now, You Are Stupid”

From the July 19 edition of MSNBC's Morning Joe

Video file

MIKA BRZEZINSKI (CO-HOST): So I still think this all comes back to Paul Manafort for some reason.

[…]

BRZEZINSKI: There is something wrong there. Mark my words, he is going to have to go. Campaign chairman Paul Manafort is defending the speech in interviews. Now this is like saying, everybody who is listening to me right now, you are stupid. He says this: “To think that she would be cribbing Michelle Obama's words is crazy. This is once again an example of when a woman threatens Hillary Clinton and how she seeks out to demean her and take her down. It’s not going to work.” I don't even know what that means.

[…]

JOE SCARBOROUGH (CO-HOST): A CBS reporter told Manafort that 58 words appeared to be lifted and Manafort responded quote, probably 30 words.
