CNN's Jake Tapper Equates Scandal-Ridden Trump U. To Fact-Free Clinton Cash Smears

Clinton Cash Is Filled With Errors, Fabrications, And Distortions

CNN host Jake Tapper compared the lawsuits alleging fraud by presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s Trump University real estate seminar business to the charges made in the anti-Clinton smear book Clinton Cash. Tapper questioned whether it will “be tough for Clinton to use Trump University, given the questions” raised in “that book and the forthcoming movie Clinton Cash.” While Trump University is under scrutiny as it faces several pending fraud and misrepresentation lawsuits, the Clinton Cash book was written by discredited author Peter Schweizer and contained numerous errors; the forthcoming film was produced by Breitbart News CEO Steve Bannon and is intended to damage Clinton ahead of the general election. From the June 1 edition of CNN’s The Lead with Jake Tapper:

JAKE TAPPER (HOST): Secretary Clinton, you saw a very forceful condemnation of Mr. Trump and Trump University. Trump's campaign yesterday was taking shots at the Clinton Foundation and questions about all of the financing there. Is it going to be tough for Clinton to use Trump University as an issue, given the questions that there have been -- there was that book and the forthcoming moving Clinton Cash. Is that going to be an issue?
