DON PEEBLES: I think, I criticized De Blasio for not standing in what he believes in. He wants to support Bernie Sanders because that's where he is politically. He is a socialist, he said he is, and he wants to support Bernie Sanders, but to protect his flank here in New York he's running around sucking up to Hillary Clinton. I'm not afraid of to support Donald Trump. I think that in some regards, aside from his lack of discipline, I think he's got some good ideas. I think that we need a business person.

NEIL CAVUTO (HOST): Let me ask you now about what Hillary Clinton has been saying about the $15 minimum wage that she's rallying around. The Bernie Sanders folks are saying, “hey wait a minute, this is our issue, we were the ones pounding this and now here you are sounding like the super capitalist basher.”

PEEBLES: Well, I think that's the challenge right now with the Democratic Party is that they're not full of new ideas.

CAVUTO: Well are you in favor of a $15 wage?

PEEBLES: No, I think the free market ought to prevail and people ought to get paid what the market dictates for them to be paid. So a $15 minimum wage increase across the board will put a lot of people out of jobs. Plus these jobs that they're talking about, working at McDonald's, is an entry level job, not a career. Again, the City Council in New York is talking about reinstating the mansion tax. They're just going to keep running more and more job generators out of the city.
