On CNN, Former Staffer Accuses Benghazi Panel Of Leading A “Partisan Investigation” That Is “Hyper-Focus[ed] On Hillary Clinton”

From the October 11 edition of CNN's State of the Union:

JAKE TAPPER: [Bradley Podliska] says that committee's mission has changed, and is now focused solely on how to put blame on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, which the committee's Republican chairman Trey Gowdy has denied.

[...]

BRADLEY PODLISKA: This has become a partisan investigation. I do not know the reason for the hyper-focus on Hillary Clinton.

[...]

TAPPER: The Democrats are now calling for the House committee to be disbanded after Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy touted the committee's role in hurting Clinton's poll numbers.

KEVIN MCCARTHY: Everybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable, right? But we put together a Benghazi special committee, a select committee. What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping.

TAPPER: Did he accidentally tell the truth about the committee? That in recent months, its focus has been on trying to bring Hillary Clinton's poll numbers down?

PODLISKA: Yes, I think it was a slip of the tongue. Now, as I explained earlier, his reasoning is wrong. I honestly do not believe this investigation was set up to go after Hillary. I believe it shifted that way.
