Fox Host: Jeb Bush Is A “Beta Male” Compared To Trump

ANDREA TANTAROS: Alright, so was it a good night for Jeb, exclamation point? I mean, I think the first clip that we played, Jonah, I don't know, that was awkward, when you ask someone to apologize and Donald Trump didn't. That made him look really weak. And then the second one, the rambling about the Bush advisers and how many people. I mean I wondered if he was still hitting the Mary Jane.

JONAH GOLDBERG: I think he did not have a great night. I think he had a better debate than the first debate. But that first exchange was very sort-of awkward, Thanksgiving dinner kind of feel to it. I think that he still comes across sort-of 'beta male' against Trump on this. I think that in terms of body language alone, Jeb's biggest problem is, he shouldn't be going for 'most improved' at this point. The guy has raised $100 million dollars. He is banking on the 'inevitable strategy' and instead he is, like, trying to get his mojo now? I mean he should be prepared for all of this a long time ago.

HARRIS FAULKNER: He ought to send, actually I think, Donald Trump a thank-you note. Because sparring with Donald Trump obviously gets people to talk about you today. Really, he actually said the words that Jeb Bush needed somebody to say. 'You have more energy.' Because he gets criticized on that point. I don't know if that's fair, he seems like a pretty energetic guy. He says he's got a lot of passion and whatnot about the issues. We certainly saw that down in Florida when he was governor. He needed to do something last night that only Donald Trump could help him do. And that was show that he was a fighter. Who else is he really going to fight with on that stage in such a way? So in a way, it was a good foil for him.
