Limbaugh Wants To See Obama Stickers, ACORN Connections In Attempted Bombing

By Oliver Willis

Limbaugh began his show by saying that Democrats and the media hoped that the man charged with the attempted bombing in Times Square was a tea party member that listened to Rush. Continuing on the attempted bombing, Limbaugh referred to the suspect as an Obama voter, and wondered if the SUV containing the bomb had an Obama bumper sticker on it, adding that he “would love if this guy was a member of ACORN.”

Discussing the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, Limbaugh expressed anger that people had been emailing him asking about his comments about whether the ocean could disperse the oil slick. Limbaugh claimed that the media were “mak[ing] up things I said,” called MSNBC employees “human debris” for reporting on his comments, and compared it to the controversy his past comments caused when he tried to purchase part of the NFL's St. Louis Rams.

While reading an AP article cataloging the challenges facing the Obama administration, Limbaugh said Democrats wanted to “finish the job of wrecking the economy that the 9/11 terrorists started.” He also attacked President Obama as “the least qualified to do anything” in “any room he walks into.” On financial regulation, Limbaugh claimed that nobody in Congress truly understood the legislation, and that whoever is purportedly pulling Obama's strings on the issue was also writing the bill.
