Fox's Hemmer claimed, “All the networks apparently” are covering Obama presser -- but Fox Broadcasting isn't

Fox News' Bill Hemmer said that "[a]ll the networks apparently" will cover President Obama's prime-time press conference on July 22. In fact, Fox Broadcasting Co. reportedly said it plans to air its regularly scheduled program, So You Think You Can Dance, during that hour.

On the July 21 edition of Fox News' America's Newsroom, co-host Bill Hemmer said that "[a]ll the networks apparently are signing up to cover" President Obama's prime-time press conference on July 22. According to Mediabistro's TVNewser blog, however, one network is not going to cover the press conference: Fox Broadcasting Co. Fox will reportedly air its regularly scheduled program, So You Think You Can Dance, during that hour, and an on-screen graphic at the beginning of the program will direct viewers to tune to the Fox News Channel or the Fox Business Network if they want to watch the press conference.

FOX will not be airing the Presidential News Conference on Wednesday, July 22 at 8:00 PM (ET). FOX's sister networks, Fox News Channel and the Fox Business Network will air the press conference in its entirety. FOX will be alerting viewers with an on-screen graphic at the top of the 8:00 PM (ET) hour that the press conference is available on Fox News Channel and the Fox Business Network.

ABC, CBS and NBC have announced they will air the news conference.
