On Hannity radio show, WABC's Levin said of Pelosi: “You could bounce a dime off her cheeks”

On the April 5 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio show, Sean Hannity asked conservative radio talk show host Mark Levin, host of WABC's The Mark Levin Show and Landmark Legal Foundation president, why he referred to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) as "Stretch." Levin replied: “You could bounce a dime off her cheeks. The woman has had so many face-lifts.”

Levin routinely assigns derogatory names to members of the Democratic Party. For example, according to a "Mark Levin Lexicon" posted on the Mark Levin Fan weblog, Levin has referred to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) as “Hillary Rotten Clinton” and “Her Thighness”; has called Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) “The Dwarf Senator”; and Rep. John P. Murtha (D-PA), “Lard Ass.”

As Media Matters for America noted, on the October 31, 2006, edition of Fox News' Hannity & Colmes, Republican pollster Frank Luntz said: “I always use the line for Nancy Pelosi, 'You get one shot at a facelift. If it doesn't work the first time, let it go.' ”

The Sean Hannity Show has more than 12 million listeners each week, according to Talkers Magazine, making it the second-most-listened-to talk radio show in the nation. It follows behind The Rush Limbaugh Show.

From the April 5 broadcast of ABC Radio Networks' The Sean Hannity Show:

HANNITY: All right, let me ask you a question. Now, I assume you call Nancy -- well, I better not go there. All right, listen --

LEVIN: No, why -- why -- why not go there?

HANNITY: I got to go, excuse me.

LEVIN: I call her “Stretch” for a reason and there's nothing -- there's nothing wrong with it [unintelligible] it's factual.

HANNITY: What's that?

LEVIN: You could bounce a dime off her cheeks. The woman has had so many face-lifts, isn't it obvious to everybody?

HANNITY: You're breaking up on me. I can hardly hear you.

LEVIN: All right.
