On the April 20 edition of his nationally syndicated radio program, host Michael Savage claimed that National Public Radio is “on the side of the harvesting of organs in China.” Savage's comments came in response to the media coverage of the Falun Gong protester who spoke out at an April 20 White House press conference with Chinese President Hu Jintao and President Bush. The Falun Gong, a religious movement outlawed in China, has alleged that Chinese prisoners' organs are being harvested.

From the April 20 edition of Talk Radio Network's The Savage Nation:

SAVAGE: Oh, it's propaganda? So this woman doctor is a liar and a stooge?

CALLER: Probably, yeah. Probably.

SAVAGE: Ah, but how do you know all these things, Stanley? From where do you derive your knowledge of China?

CALLER: I derive my knowledge of China by watching television and learning from [San Francisco public radio station] KQED and public television.

SAVAGE: You are a moron of the lowest magnitude. You are one of the dumbest persons I have ever spoken with in my life. You are the type of dolt that, had you been told in 1939, 1940, '41, that Hitler was gassing Jews, you would have said, “Why, the Germans have a right to their self-determination, and those Jews are troublesome, and I get my information from KQED!”

CALLER: Sir, I am Jewish. I would never say that.

SAVAGE: Well, I'm sorry to hear it. Apparently you didn't inherit any intelligence along with your genes. What happened to you? Did your mother drink too much seltzer? Did the carbon dioxide go to her brain? What do you mean you're Jewish, and you have no conscience for Chinese people who are being butchered over there?

CALLER: Oh, that's just a bunch of malarkey.

SAVAGE: All right, take a walk, you sad sack, you. You're a shame to the Jewish people. Let's see, what else do you want to talk about, here? Look what I have to put up with for a living, here. He gets his information from National Public Radio, and by the way, and they, of course, are on the side of the harvesting of organs in China. What does that tell you about communists, socialists, and the American left? They're all -- they're all in cahoots with each other.
