New York Times : “FOX reporters report by the book” -- but MMFA analysis proves otherwise

In a September 3 article titled "Fast, Frisky and Caffeinated, Fox News Looked Right at Home All Week," New York Times TV critic Alessandra Stanley accurately noted several examples of FOX News Channel commentators exhibiting a distinct conservative “sensibility.” But Stanley also claimed, "[F]or the most part, Fox reporters report by the book, and the [Republican National] convention coverage has not proved any different." As Media Matters for America has systematically and extensively documented, FOX News Channel reporters abandon “the book” often, including at the Republican National Convention.
