Fox empire promotes Beck's attack on Soros

We're getting our first indication about whether Glenn Beck is correct in claiming he will be held accountable by his bosses at Fox if he says things on his show that are incorrect.

Last night, Beck supported his 60-minute smear of George Soros with a series of demonstrable falsehoods, as we documented. Today on his radio show, he didn't correct any of these falsehoods; in fact, he repeated that he “could not stay on air” if he had fabricated any of his claims about Soros.

Now, Fox Nation, part of the News Corp. family that Beck says supports him, is promoting a clip of Beck's show from last night as the top story on its front page:

Beck has been very explicit in saying that he has the backing of Fox News' bosses, and they've been clear about their support for him in the past.

Will Murdoch and News Corp. stand behind his latest falsehood-laden smear?

Early signs point to yes.
