Doug Powers calls young health reform supporters “ugly” while lying about the law they support

Michellemalkin.com blogger Doug Powers today posted a video produced by Campus Progress Action Fund under the headline “Obamacare Idealists Somehow Find Way to Be Even More Nauseating.” In the video, young progressives detail the importance of the Affordable Care Act's provisions requiring insurers to allow children to stay on their parents' family health insurance plans until age 26.

Classy as ever, Powers calls the young people in the video “ugly,” “freeloading brats” and “useless nimrods” who are “reaching into your back pocket and trying to swipe your wallet during the ad.”

He then gives you “the script in a nutshell: 'When I get out of college I'm going to be kicked off mom and dad's health plan so you have to pay for it! And if you don't want to we won't let you! Nyeh!'”

What's wrong with his assessment of the video? Well, if a recent college graduate doesn't have a job with benefits and chooses to stay on their parents' plan...it's their PARENTS' plan. They don't have their hands in anyone's pocket (except of course, those of their parents).
